Pomegranate

The Pomegranate “Punica granatum” is one of the most important fruit of the ancient civilizations mentioned in many Mediterranean and Middle Eastern legends. The pigmentations extracted from the bark and rind of this plant, once fixed on the fabrics, are particularly resistant to light and washing. The obtainable colors are many: from cold yellow, golden, greyish green to orange obtained by extracting the color from the berry.
